are you fucking kidding me

So I’m watching the local news, WNBC. And the President was here tonight doing some fundraising. They showed him up at the Apollo in Harlem (this is when he was singing Al Green).

And OWS showed up to protest. Nothing but white kids, of course. One sign they showed had the President in a Hitler mustache and some bullshit about WW3.

Now, by all means, protest the political process in the US and how it’s all about rich people buying access. By all means.

But can we talk about protesting our black President at the Apollo Theater in Harlem? With Hitler signs? And, the news pointed out, this particular event wasn’t even the most expensive fundraiser President Obama attended tonight. It was actually the cheapest per plate. 

OWS, you want to know why POC side eye the shit out of you? This kind of thing would be why.
